Writers Collab!
This project will be the first of MANY where I invite BIPOC writers from all over to have a chance to collaborate with other writers. We will use a mass range of techniques and resources to create one beautiful story! I know you’re probably wondering how that works, and I’m here to give you the vision.

01
The Vision!
I had an idea a few months ago based off of my last book “Adams Drive”. I combined my poems from over the years and added short stories to detail how the poems were birthed. Then I thought, “hmmmm, what if I did this with a few other people on a broader spectrum”. I got with some friends who are also writers and pitched my idea. They LOVED IT! Each writer whether a poet, short storyteller, or novelist will add an authentic and unique part of their writing style to this project. We will have several different focal points for each writer to choose from with one other writer. Short storytellers will be assigned to two different focal points, while poets will be assigned to all.
02
The Intent!
In addition to the project in itself we are also building a community of writers for support, feedback, and resources. As many may know, it can be tough out here when you’re trying to connect and you’re just starting out. I can’t tell you how many mistakes I’ve made when I first started out, but it motivated me to create my own avenue. What I’m offering here is a family that is a judgement free zone, driven by teamwork. The foundation for this body of work is simply love and respect. In a world that promotes gate keeping, I would like to hold some hands.

03
The End Game
After we have completed the written portion of the project, we will be doing a short film! I’ve always had an obsession for reading, but how many know that the visuals to pull it all together are what can make it a euphoric experience. Help me bring our visuals to life. There has been some criticism about how this would even be possible with so many different writers, but they’re just going to have to wait and see.

How you can join?
Below is a submissions tab where you will be able to upload your work for consideration. I will also email you a questionnaire so you can tell me more about yourself. Thank you so much for your interest in taking part in this project and experience. Please take a look around LucidDomain while you're here!
